A Charter Plane for Work and Play

Size, speed, reliability and capabilities makes this Beechjet 400A the client requested light jet. The square-oval design provides a larger aircraft feel with more head and shoulder room than other light jets. The Beechjet 400A is also extremely rugged and reliable and a favorite for pilot training of the U.S. Air Force. No wonder it has been a popular business jet.

Try it out on your next trip!

Upgrade Before it's Too Late!

Federal Aviation AssociationAir traffic control in the United States is in the midst of a major overhaul. With the FAA NextGen Mandate, all aircraft owners have to upgrade to the new ADS-B requirements before January 1, 2020. This improved system will transmit 12-15 pieces of information including altitude, speed, location, heading and more.

According to the Aircraft Electronics Association, it will take every avionics shop in the country performing one ADS-B upgrade per month to get all registered general aviation aircraft equipped to meet the mandate. Planes that don't meet the mandate by 2020 will be vastly limited to where they can fly, and many will not even be able to take off depending on where they base their plane.

Aero Charter Avionics Department has received the Avionics Training Excellence Award every year for the last 8 years. As a certified FAA repair station, Aero Charter can order and install the new equipment. Being a dealer for all the major avionics manufacturers allows us to provide our customers with the most cost-effective solution.

Ted Clark, Aero's Director of Avionics, would be happy to answer any questions as well as schedule your appointment. You can contact Ted by calling (636) 449-5163 or by email at

A New Way To Sightsee

Until now, the only way to see a variety of countries in Europe was to take a motorcoach tour. You were doomed to travel by motor coach or change hotels constantly. Today’s hot option is to go on a river cruise. Once you board the ship, the places come to you. Unpack one time and don't worry about going to different hotels.

Instead of boarding a massive cruise vessel, the occupancy on a river cruise is limited to 60-125 cabins. River cruiselines include soft drinks, wine, and beer with lunch and dinner. As an added benefit, a comprehensive sightseeing agenda is included in the cost.

Aero Charter's travel agency can book river cruises in Europe, Asia, South America, and the US. Our clients have enjoyed themselves on cruises by Avalon Rivercruises, Viking Cruises, and Ama Waterways Cruises.

Booking a year in advance has become the trend. Right now is the optimum time to do so for the following year because promotions are offered in the fall. If you want to book your cruise before they fill up, contact us at, or (636) 449-5113. We can help you choose the cruise that will give you the best experience!
Employee Spotlight: Garth Collins

Garth CollinsWho: Garth Collins, Vice President of Operations, an Aero employee since 1996.

What: “I help our clients feel comfortable with their choice of travel options. People new to private aviation are sometimes nervous about aircraft smaller than airliners; I will explain the many similarities, and especially the benefits, of our aircraft versus airline equipment. When you work with me the flight experience is relaxed, not stressed.”

Why: “Clients like to fly with me because I am confident. My passengers have often expressed gratitude for my calm demeanor and poise, things that made their trip a better experience than what they expected!”

Something that most people don't know: “I volunteer in our church youth ministry, serving 200-300 kids in 6th through 12th grades at Uprising COTR.”

Another Happy Client...

"I am very, very happy. I was very pleased with the selection of the products. They gave me very good recommendations. I selected Aero Charter's Avionics Department because somebody recommended it to me. I talked with them and realized they were very knowledgeable and would give my plane the time it needed. They gave my plane the attention it deserved." (Mark)
