Keynote Speakers

We've got three great days of character development professional learning in store this summer. The CharacterPlus National Conference is June 16-17, 2015 (pre-conference is June 15). This year, we have two fantastic keynotes, one dynamic panel of community leaders and six pre-conference offerings for attendees!

Our keynote speakers this year will be Tanya Avrith and Baruti Kafele.

Principal Baruti Kafele is a leading authority on professional development strategies for creating a positive school climate and culture, transforming the attitudes of at-risk student populations, motivating males to excel in the classroom and school leadership development. He keynotes Tuesday morning at the CharacterPlus National Conference.

Tanya Avrith is an innovation specialist, helping lead change by working with educators, parents, K-12 and college students. She keynotes Wednesday morning. Tanya spent the last two
years teaching students how to harness the power of social media and will be incorporating this message into her keynote.
