Ten middle school teams from the St. Louis regon (each team limited to 10 including advisors and students) come together on September 17, 2015 to learn and develop a plan of action. They return on February 5, 2016 to share their efforts and results. Must sign up for both dates.

High School Summit - Character Goes Viral: Using Social Media Against Cyberbullying 

Ten high school teams (each limited to 10 including advisors and students) come together on October 2, 2015 to explore the positive power of social media, develop a campaign and re-launch #startswithus. They return on February 9, 2016 to present at the Midwest Educational Technology (METC) conference. Must commit to both dates.

State Schools of Character:
Intro to the 11 Principles

This September 24 workshop, presented by Missouri State School of Character coordinator Suzy Ward, provides overview for each the 11 Principles of Effective Character Education. She'll focus on's (CEP) 11 Principles and the application process for State Schools of Character. Since 1998, Missouri and CharacterPlus member schools account for the more SSOC schools recognized than any other state. Learn what works and how it positively impacts student lives!
