Pennies For Hurricane Harvey

Carman Students were excited to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey this week. Spearheaded by 4th grade student Reagan Scott and her family, students and families brought in change and dollars to fill up a water jug. Over the course of three mornings, students contributed:

103 pounds of coins consisting of:
       *13,287 pennies
       *1,009 nickels
       *1,114 dimes
       * 694 quarters
       *19 dollar coins
Coins totaled = $487.22

Cash and Checks = $352

Our students raised $839.22. This money will be combined with the Parkway District Effort and be delivered to Houston to help with the relief effort.

Manchester Homecoming Parade
Carman Trails is participating in the Manchester Homecoming Parade on September 9th. The parade starts at 9:00 am and we will be meeting at 8:30 am at The Journey Church. The theme for this year's parade is, "It's A Pirate's Life for Me", so Carman Trails' motto will be, "Carman Trails: We ARRR a National School of Character". Please complete this Google Form by clicking here if you would like to participate in the parade and/or if you would like to donate candy for us to give out during the parade. Students will have an opportunity to make hats to wear during the parade in library next week. We encourage students to wear Carman colors for the parade.
National School Of Character Letters
Carman Trails received our new building signage displaying our National School of Character award from last year.  Stop by and take a look!
