May Day is just around the corner! May Day is an annual tradition at Carman Trails that celebrates the coming of the summer season. May Day is a time of singing, dancing, and celebration that joins together the Carman Trails community; many Carman Trails alum even come back to join the celebration. We hope you can join us on Friday, May 11th at 1:30 pm. The action takes place on the south parking lot, so you are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and come and sit on the hill overlooking the lot. Be sure to bring friends and family too! Our Carman Fundraiser

Help Carman Trails PTO reach our goal of raising $3,000 this school year through our “Our Carman”fundraiser.

What is “Our Carman”? It’s simply another way to support the PTO without buying or selling anything or attending an event. Simply make a tax-deductible donation by sending in cash or a check made payable to Carman Trails PTO for any amount you feel comfortable with.  You can also donate by using the donate button on the PTO’s web page. Girls on the Run
Hello Families!

Next year we are going to have a GOTR team here at Carman Trails. If you are not familiar, this is a program for girls in grades 3-5. In this program, life skills are taught through lessons and running games; which leads to a celebratory 5K at the end.

With that being said, in order to make this program successful, we need help! This is a 10-week program that will meet starting mid-September 2 times a week (before or after school), leading up to the 5K that is on November 17th.

I know this is a little early to be thinking about next year, but if you would like to help out with this amazing program, please let me know! (rklebolt2@parkwayschools.net)

Thanks!
Ms. Klebolt

Board positions terms are for 2 school years (2018-209 & 2019-2020). The executive board meets the last Tuesday each month.  It's a great way to meet new people and support our school at the same time!!
If you would like more information, think you might be interested in one of the positions or know someone you think might be a good fit, please let us. Contact the PTO Board at:  www.carmantrails.pto.president@gmail.com

Carman Trails at Busch Stadium
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are invited to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on May 20th.  We will sing during the 7th inning stretch, so there is no need for students to arrive early.  Mr. Allen will send more information home as we get closer to the performance.
