Grad Night 2019 seeks volunteers, resources

Grad Night planning for GBN’s Class of 2019 is well underway. Grad Night takes place the night of graduation, Sunday, June 2nd. The purpose of Grad Night is to throw a party for our students to celebrate their years of hard work – in a safe, and drug- and alcohol-free environment. Grad Night provides entertainment, activities and food, in a locked-in environment from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This 28-year tradition is provided at no cost to students, and historically more than 92 percent of the graduating class attends. Please mark your calendars for the community walkthrough from 8 to 9:30 p.m. June 2 for adults (no school age children please). Stop in and see what Grad Night is all about!

The Grad Night Steering Committee is also seeking individuals and businesses that can donate prizes, food or funds for the event. Volunteers are needed to work the evening of Grad Night, especially the second shift and clean-up the following morning. Email info@gbngradnight.com for more information. To volunteer or contribute, visit the Grad Night website. Also, follow GBN Grad Night on Facebook.
