"Cinderella" tickets on sale March 7
This spring, the Glenbrooks will perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s "Cinderella," a new twist on the classic fairy tale. This latest revival is appropriate for all ages and retains the elements of happily ever after, with the added intrigue of a prince who wants more purpose in life, a supporting cast that shines the light on the political challenges of the rich and the poor, and Cinderella demonstrating the importance of kindness, sisterhood and self worth. Through music, dance and humor, this modern version lets us see where change creates opportunities where dreams really do come true while retaining the magic of a fairy godmother, glass slippers and love.

Performances will be held at GBN at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, May 2 with cast meet-and-greets after the show. Tickets are $15 (reserved seating) and can be purchased at beginning at 9 a.m. March 7.
