Because of Aschinger's experience in the solar market, I'm often asked questions about solar rebates and whether solar makes economic sense for building owners. If you've had an interest in the past, now is the perfect time to explore adding a solar array to your facility. Ameren Missouri has announced that a new Missouri Solar Rebate has been approved, but it's a limited offering. Here is what you need to know:

1.) Using this rebate, along with the available Investment Tax Credit may pay for over ½ of your project.

2.) These projects can pay back in just over 2 years and provide guaranteed power for 25 years.

3.) Most of these projects will have Internal Rates of Return over 25%.

This program provides an excellent opportunity to go solar and lower your energy bills. The last time the rebates were offered, many of our customers waited too long and weren't able to take advantage of them. This offering has a very narrow window of opportunity, if you have ever considered solar for your building, the time to look into this program is now. Applications for the rebate open November 1, 2018, and we expect applications to exceed rebate dollars.

Aschinger, with its partners, has designed, managed and installed over 10 megawatts of solar in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, including roof mounted, elevated (covered parking) and ground mount arrays. Let me know if we can help you take advantage of the chance to add solar to your facility.
