JANUARY 2019

SPEAK UP, STAY SAFE
Everyone can play a part in keeping our schools safe and secure. If you see suspicious activity, be prepared to give a detailed report to school staff and the authorities. Pay special attention to things like: What, specifically, you observed; who you saw; when and where you saw it; and why it seemed suspicious. These details will help school staff and the authorities as they work to keep our schools and students safe. Please report any suspicious activity noted in the vicinity of schools to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office at 540-662-6168.

Students played a Mexican card game, watched traditional dancing, learned Spanish words, and sampled delicious homemade Mexican cuisine. We also learned about the significance of poinsettias during the holidays in Mexico. We look forward to our next presentation on South Korea in January.
