Learning for All - All the Time
December is always a very busy month for everyone at James Wood Middle School. Our students and teachers will be busy putting the finishing touches on the second grading period which ends on Wednesday, December 19th. Please note that report cards for the second grading period will be issued to students on Friday, January 11, 2019.
Many special events are planned for December. Some of these events include:
PTO Meeting - December 5th at 3:00 PM in cafeteria
7th and 8th Grade Choir Concert - December 10th at 7:00 PM in auditorium
Symphonic and Jazz Band Concert - Dec. 17th at 7:00 PM in auditorium
School will be closed for our annual Holiday Break beginning on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Students will return to class on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Everyone at James Wood Middle School wishes you and your family a glorious holiday season!

|Gifted Education Information Series 2019
The Gifted Education Information Series is a series of workshops developed and facilitated by the FCPS resource teachers for gifted education to be offered throughout the school year. These workshop sessions will provide parents, teachers, and interested persons an opportunity to attend informational sessions on various topics related to the programs and services available to students eligible for gifted services in Frederick County Public Schools.
