On Thursday, November 8, seniors will have a class meeting to order their cap & gown.  They will be bringing home packets with the information.  You can order the following ways:

  • Online
  • Students can order during lunch/advisory periods on November 15 & 16.
  • Parents can come in to Graduation Fair from 3 - 7 p.m. on November 15.
 All cap & gown orders must be made by December 31, 2018.

In order to provide a safer environment for all, Millbrook High School will not be allowing spectators to enter any after school event with any type of backpack.

Reminder: Any bag you bring on Frederick County Public Schools property can be subject to search at any time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dates to Remember

The Fall MPAA Awards ceremony will be on Sunday, November 18, 2:00 p.m.

Adult Pass

$70.00/winter and spring (available after fall season)

The pass must be in the possession of the pass holder to enter the game via the pass. Once the pass has been obtained by the purchaser/pass holder, the pass becomes the responsibility of the pass holder. Lost/misplaced passes are not the responsibility of the school and will not be replaced by the school.

The Millbrook Chapter of the National Honor Society will hold its annual induction ceremony on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. Students who turned in their participation forms are asked to arrive with their guests fifteen minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Business casual attire is required for inductees. New members will be able to pay their $10 dues after the ceremony. Light refreshments will be served.
Guidance Google Classroom
Attention Parents/Guardians:
Please encourage your students to join the Guidance Department Google Classroom. The Guidance Department will be announcing important information and events through Google Classroom this school year. Once your students join, they can invite you to join the page and you will be able to view the information that is posted. The Google Classroom page is also where your students can sign up to meet with their counselor and with the Career Coach. The code to join the Google Classroom is: 44c3zx.

Please sign up to join the MHS Guidance Class on Remind. We encourage all MHS students and their parents/guardians to sign up. The Guidance Department will be announcing important information, deadlines, and events through Remind. To sign up, text @pioneernow to the number 81010.

ASVAB Testing

Students that registered to take the ASVAB test need to report to Millbrook High School by 8:45 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018. You must bring your picture ID to be admitted to the testing room.

SOL Non Writing Testing
Seniors still in need of a verified credit on a non-writing SOL will begin testing the last week in November. Testing notices will be given out the week prior to Thanksgiving. Students must pass this test to satisfy graduation requirements. Students need to bring their fully charged Chrome-book with adapter cord to all testing sessions.

Yearbook Senior Tributes
Senior parents interested in purchasing senior tribute space in the 2018-2019 Brooktrails yearbook may pick up packets in the main office, Lab 434 or access the information online and order form  or on the Class of 2019 Google classroom page. Contact Mrs. Laffoon ( if you have any questions.
