  • Thank you for a great first month of school!  It has been so wonderful having students back in the building. Everyone continues to work so hard to keep safety a main priority.  We appreciate all our learners doing their part in keeping us safe!

  • As a reminder, your child WILL have assignments to do at home when they are not in the building.  Please check in with your child to be sure that they have completed their assignments for the day.  If your child does not participate in any learning activities on a day they are at home, we will be marking your child absent because there has been no meaningful interaction with the teacher.

  • All MES hybrid and virtual students are eligible for a free school breakfast and/or lunch each school day! On the days your hybrid student is not at school or every week day for virtual learners, meals can be picked up at the loading dock around the back of the school building.
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

  • Wednesdays: 10:00 AM-11:00 AM

  • Please ring the doorbell at the kitchen door and someone will be out to help you.

  • Questions? Please call 540-869-4615

  • Although all students enrolled in Frederick County Public Schools are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch each day school is in session through December 22, it's important for eligible families to still apply to participate in the Free and Reduced Meals Program.  Completing an application now will help ensure those students deemed eligible can continue to receive free or reduced priced meals after the free school meals program currently available to all students ends in December.   Free and Reduced Meals
