Earl & Marthalu Dieterich Middle School
The Board approved naming Middle School #3 Earl & Marthalu Dieterich Middle School. Earl Dieterich served in Midlothian ISD for 31 years as an ag teacher, football coach and basketball coach at Midlothian High School and also as the athletic director. Marthalu Dieterich taught Spanish at Midlothian High School for 27 years. The impact these individuals made on their students and their commitment to Midlothian ISD and our community make them a worthy namesake for our new middle school.
Ryan Timm Named T.E. Baxter Elementary Principal
Midlothian ISD’s Board of Trustees approved Ryan Timm as the new T.E. Baxter Elementary principal. Currently, Timm serves as the principal of Jack Taylor Elementary in Burleson, Texas.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Timm as the new T.E. Baxter Elementary principal,” Dr. Lane Ledbetter, superintendent of schools, said. “He leads with a student-first mindset and inspires excellence in his students, teachers and staff.”

“I am a longtime resident of Midlothian and excited to be a part of the great things MISD has been doing and will continue to do,” Ryan Timm said. “I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of the students, families and teachers at T.E. Baxter, and I’m excited to begin building strong relationships with our students so they can reach their highest potential each day.”
Shorr Heathcote Named Director of Human Resource Services
Midlothian ISD’s Board of Trustees approved Shorr Heathcote as the new director of human resource services. Currently, Heathcote serves as an assistant principal at Frank Seale Middle School.

“As Midlothian ISD continues to grow and excel, we are committed to providing the best support for our teachers and staff,” Dr. Lane Ledbetter, superintendent of schools, said. “We welcome Ms. Heathcote as she takes over this new role and know she will be a tremendous asset to the human resource team.”

“Midlothian ISD is committed to inspiring excellence, and as the new director of human resource services, I am honored to help inspire excellence among all of our wonderful employees,” Shorr Heathcote said. “I've always believed the best part of being in MISD is that we are a family, which is why I am so excited to help recruit, develop and retain the very best employees as our Midlothian family continues to grow.”
