On June 15 and 16 we will have our Chromebook and Hot Spot return and student item pick up.  If you checked out a Chromebook or Hot Spot for distance learning, now is the time to return it.  The schedule is as follows:

Monday, June 15           Last name ending in A-M from 8:00-11:00
Tuesday, June 16          Last name ending in N-Z from 8:00-11:00

Staff will be outside in the Main Avenue bus circle to take back your Chromebook and Hot Spot.  Don't forget the power cord!  We also have a bag of student items, so even if you did not check out a device, please stop by for your child's bag.  The entire process should only take a few minutes.  You can stay in your car in the bus lane and staff will take the device from you and hand the items to you through your window.  Just be patient as we take a moment to find your child' bag.

Distance learning ends officially on Friday, June 12.  Your child can still access their Google Classroom and the learning links, though teachers will no longer be posting assignments or responding to inquiries after this date.  You can also access the links on the district's distance learning page over the summer to keep your child engaged in learning - DISTRICT DISTANCE LEARNING.  There are many great sites for your child to access to keep actively learning!
Thank you, families, for your understanding and patience as we navigated - and continue to navigate - some very uncertain times.  We know that school closure presents many challenges for our families and we will continue to find the best ways to support all of you.

Thank you also to the amazing Main Avenue staff for their dedication to our families and students.  They continue to prepare and deliver thousands of meals each week.  Teachers stayed connected via Zoom, phone calls, emails, and other methods to check in on families.  The Google Classrooms they created kept the learning going.

The campus is just not the same without the students.  We miss them terribly.  But we know that health and safety come first, and the district continues to work on how we will return in the fall in the safest manner possible.  Until then, please stay safe and well, and keep connected with the school and district websites and social media accounts for updates.  We miss you, Panthers, and can't wait to see you soon!  Stay Panther Strong!
